Wear Simplicity...be Elegant!

Our life these days revolve around fashion and the "in-things". Fashion world has taken us for stride and we are more than happy to ride. I guess nothing wrong about that. Stepping back into the real world where our hearts rule and conscience dictates, it becomes then a tug of war kind of situation between our brain and mind.

I was always amazed by the glory of those wonderful movie stars wearing dazzling outfits and masks of make-up. But as and how I grew realities started unfolding about those shiny things and I realized that even those movie stars who are shining always have a simple life afterall. They are totally aware of the role they play in movies and get back to simple, pure life for their day.

These glitterati amazed me more than ever now and make me acknowledge their true life of giving. So its true that simplicity ideally rules the world. Simplicity does not mean getting boring, getting old, getting outdated. It is THE only thing that's constant and will be. As we remove our make-up in the night while sleeping. Why do we do that, because we are getting in touch with our own self, our true self, our own life where that make-up does not mean anything, but simplicity sure leads us into the divine world. Pure way of getting into someones heart is not having loads of foundation covering true face, or using costly gadgets but giving a pure simple smile with no judgements, no prejudice or without a doubt. Sure those wonderful costly things add to the beauty at times but can never ever become a beauty. They always remain accessories and so are they called that way...accessories that enhance our true beauty. We should for sure take it that way.

No person can ever be judged by the way he or she uses accessories,  as true person doesn't even come into this world wearing jazzy outfits or costly jewellery. What he or she brings along is a beautiful mind and bundle of conscience. We inspite of being aware of this keep judging others and rating them on the scale of accessories. AND at one point of time praise the celebs for being simple and down to earth..whats that all about?
Simplicity leads to serenity and serenity is the definite way to  divinity. From now on for me simplicity is the '"in-thing" which will never be outdated or out of fashion as it is directly related to the mind conscious and not the accessories.

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” by ― Leonardo da Vinci and "simple living high thinking"  are the wonderful quotes by truly fashionable and beautiful people around :D

Being "in-spirit" .

WE have words personified for ourselves. What does that mean? It means we think of some word and has an image of a person we know to whom we can wear it. All the adjectives that we know could be related to all the people we know. We know happy people, we know healthy people, we know irritating people and we know serene ones too. Similarly when I think of the word "Inspiration" the name comes to my mind is Dr.Wayne Dyer. I just happened to read his book named "Inspiration". Its a wonderful book penned by him as always. He is a real motivational writer and a follower too.

He insists on being "in-spirit" all the time. Being connected to self, as being in-the-vortex according to Esther and Jerry Hicks. Is it really possible to be connected to self all the time? Yes, comes to my mind. In this world of chaos, agony our mind is yet so powerful that it can find and maintain its place to its highest peaceful level. How so? Just be with it and we know. This does not mean sad, angry situations wont happen around. But if we are connected to ourselves within then these circumstances wont create a whirlpool within us. Being in dialogue with ourself always helps us to analyze the situation on a very rational ground, as our mind is never biased and hence can make a perfectly right analysis.

Being connected to self helps us focus on what is good for us in terms to be happy. This feeling never lets us down in our behaviour and acts. It never judges people based on their behaviour and actions. One can truly be at peace when being connected. Initially it is difficult to gather self and get on track, as our mind is like a vagabond. But this could be practised and mastered too. Meditation is one method which helps us to slow down our thought prcoessing machine and take some time to really think and act. The power of forgiveness as one of the technique also helps us in order to get one with self ..as in Dr. Dyer's words "let go let God!". We dont need to use our time and efforts in analyzing a person and his behaviour. Its better left to our higher self. We are here just to enjoy our time and our actions. "Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances."- Dr. Dyer.

I am so happy to have read this book. I highly recommend you all to at least give it a try. Nothing to lose.!

Rejoice the gift of present!

The gap filled in the days for me and I was busy in routine chores keeping myself unknowingly away from my writing. My subconscious was busy hinting me to write but my conscious was wandering off in noland. Gap had a big job of filling these days by nothingness.

Well so getting back to our effort of getting the two minds connected and work for us in union, here is to state what we think within is shown out there. Many great thinkers have quoted about the power of within and the power of our minds.
"Bring into play the almighty power within you, so that on the stage of life you can fulfill your high destined role.".-Paramahansa Yogananda

Believe me, whenever I used to read or listen to such quotes I used to take it like a motivational speech, where the orator tells us not to give up the efforts towards our goals. I used to think over it and try to implement it, but with conscious effort, with the help of conscious mind. Most of the times such talks are a waste to hear according to me if we are not ready to absorb them with our subconscious mind. If we could activate our subconscious then the absorption becomes so effortless and the results are wonderful. Woah..that dosen't mean I am in a state of getting miracles left and right. I still need to activate my subconscious in order to grasp each and every thing going around.

Recently I read a book recommended by one of my dear friends which was really amazing. It added to my knowledge all those essentials required for activating the subconscious mind. Its like when we say, its good to listen to our hearts once in a while. Our mind and heart gives inspirations. Inspirations come to us when we are pure at heart, which means we are in a totally receptive mode, which says our subconscious is active. We hear many people say, ' follow your heart' which is so true. Its just not a statement to be made, but to live, to implement. Anything coming from heart is pure and thus miraculous. This is possible only when we live in present moment.

According to the great personality Louise Hay, the power lies within the present moment, this has also been said since many years. Lets pay acute attention to the present moment and receive all that's passing by. Lets make an effort to "be there" at that moment and rejoice in "the present time". This is one of the ways to be with "the self'" and unleash the powers within. Present moment is where the subconscious resides, conscious mind is like a brat wandering back and forth.

The subconscious of conscious- Part III

All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark. -Swami Vivekananda.

So very rightly said and yet we do the same. Swami Vivekananda was a visionary and hence could quote such a statement. He believed in his thought process and set an example for us. Continuing with our journey of re-union we dig further to our thought level. As we were saying whether we really think about what we do or not still remains unanswered. Do we think positive? We are taught since childhood that we should always think positive. Be good to others, which I see again as a way of thinking positive. But what we lack according to me is what exactly it is to think positive. And how do we do that? At what level? We need to introduce such process at at early age of a child to see the miracle happening in his/her later life. Well that could be an altogether different topic to talk about.

Consciously we can sure make an effort to be positive and remain happy. But then subconscious will never leave us if it is unattended. A nice way to know the functions of our two minds is to think of it as a garden. We as gardeners need to plant the seeds of thought in our subconscious mind. These seeds will grow into beautiful flowers in the form of your actions. Thought is action, thought is destiny. We are what we think the whole day.

If we give a mindful effort to the day's thought process, it will be seen that we keep on sowing seeds of thoughts that are so varied. Some thoughts are good, which is a perfect thought process, some are bad while some are wasted thoughts. We should be really aware of what kinds of thoughts our mind is processing. No need to say we are the creators of those. When our mind thinks correctly, when we understand the truth then these thoughts are deposited into our subconscious mind and lead to miraculous results.

To be able to see our thoughts we need to connect to our subconscious which is possible only when our conscious mind is not active. Sure they work together but at different time zones! To get connected with the subconscious we need to relax and slow down from our daily chores. We need to breathe fully and completely. Now some might say "don't we breathe fully, then how are we alive"? But if we see closely our breathing is not deep as it should be. Its halfway many a times. People who have done Yoga at some point of time will know that we are told to breathe deeply many a times during the session, and that's the effort to get connected to the subconscious. Close our conscious world to open for subconscious. The technique recommended by one of my great acquaintances, who is a super-human according to me, is to take five deep breathes after every three to four hours. Try this technique and see if you can at least get closer to your inner world.

Try being aware of what you think for today ...and lets see what is in-store next...

The subconscious of conscious- Part II

2009- a year of economic recession. It had a huge impact on the lives of many. Most of the people were badly hit by this turnaround. But for me and my family it was not just that but beyond. We had to deal with the major illness in the family. No...no..I am not telling my doleful story, but this situation led me to read more and more about the happenings around. Time was just not with us.

As one situation in life opens the door to another..good or bad, it happened the same in my case. To untangle the rope of events I kept reading to get the answers for my queries. Not only spiritual extracts but the science supporting the cause. This led me to know about the Big boss I mentioned earlier. Yes, and that plays very important role for sure. The reading made it clear that the thought process holds the key to results we see in life. Its all about being right-minded.

In our daily lives we are not even aware whether we are right-minded or not. We just don't have time for such fancy stuff. But let me assure one thing...being right-minded means a perfect way to success in life. Not only spiritual but materialistic too. We confess that we are not at all wrong-minded, but are we not really? Do we take a little time daily to analyze our mind at all? Do we sit quietly to see whether we are on right path or not? No, we don't. Things just happen around and we get caught up in that saying we are busy. Yes, being busy, earning money, exercising is all a part of life. But do we ever think about it?

We do things consciously, but what's important is we do it subconsciously. Meaning channelize the thought process and see the results. Conscious mind is like a shallow stream of water body which does not hold much beneath. But subconscious when active is unfathomable. It has all the riches, all the power to transform our lives, only if we know how? Some might think it as spiritual and absolutely not necessary when we are young. As we have the image that thinking about such things makes us old. Again a thought pattern we believe to be so. But on the contrary I would say sooner the better. If we are aware of our two minds and their working pattern better are the chances of transforming our life and enjoying it.

Lets see how in the coming post...

The subconscious of conscious!!

Life full of events. Some good, some bad, some great and some sad. All these events get hooked to our mind and cling to our behavior. Then gradually our behavior finds a base on such experiences and we transfer our nature, our behavioral pattern accordingly. Whether this is right or wrong holds no meaning at all. As we are aware our past haunts us and we use that past to make the future assumptions. While doing this we forget the present. I always had a question in my mind....where does past reside in our body, in our mind? Well that led me to read lot of books to the related topics and now I can see some answers. Going through such studies helped me join the dots and make a better picture.

We all are aware of two minds that we have. One being conscious and other being subconscious. Superficially conscious mind plays a leading role in our daily activities. It drives the whole show. It is THE boss. Conscious mind captures the on going events, situations, experiences and people around making them in a bundle of pattern which we call it as life. But then later reading got more concepts unfold. The conscious mind is not the boss of life but is just a driver driven by the BIG BOSS. Now who is this big boss?

I will be writing about everything that I have read and would love to share it with you. I would be extremely happy to learn from you all as well about your views about these concepts and experiences. Lets all share our opinions and find solutions for the concerns, happenings in our life.

I am on a trial to re-unite our conscious and subconscious mind which has left apart over the period of time. An effort to live a better life, the one WE desire!

B for Bears equals to B for buy!!

Recently I came across an article about Warren Buffet and his strategy for investing. It states that he buys at low and sells at high, and looks mainly for the value. So very true and lucrative. Isn't this the basic fundamental strategy while trading? Like Nicholas stated in this article about Buffet nodding yes to what he says even I do not understand the planning of many investors that go haywire. I really feel the need to see how can people invest in the stocks that compel them to suicide. What environment they are playing in? Is it not normal for a person to see whats profitable and can get bread to the table?

Of course when I write this it does not mean that I am extremely profitable in all the scrips that I deal with. I too have suffered my share of losses and dips, but I do make sure that I am not buying in bulk for the equities that are totally uncertain. Now its our study and judgement what companies are performing and place a stop loss. When I entered into trading like any other new-bee I was also going after blue-chip companies and the brand names. But they did not give me consistent returns all the time. Many of my scrips in software industry showed me the bearish results. Learning from this I started analysing small companies and putting my money on it and Ta-Da....got results. That made me think that it proved that brand names not always are the best, of course the more you invest the more you get /or lose. But ignoring the small and mid-cap performers is sure a mistake. No doubt certain big names have given me big money, but many small or unacknowledged identities also have given big profit and the main criteria for small companies is the amount required for investing is also small per scrip and thus they give large number in quantity. This has helped me in selling my scrips at various bullish environment, making profit in slots. This also holds beneficial when the share splits. We get double the quantity and increase the chances of selling in slots.....which sure attracts more benefit.

Coming back to Mr. Warren Buffet strategy we need to think or act in going for Canadian mining stocks for less than the value of their proven deposits (buy recommendation)...for taking a big step closer to becoming rich :D!
